Knowledge
See also life is learned.
Socrates once said:
"There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil,
ignorance."
Types of knowledge
When it comes to knowledge, there are three possible groups
that knowledge can fall into, two are obvious, what you know, and what you know
you don't know:

The things you don't realize you don't know, could be called the Unknown Unknowns
Donald Rumsfeld discussed:
"We don't know what we don't know" is a quote that was derived from a
response by Donald
Rumsfeld, former United States Secretary of Defense. One of the points he
stresses is that the "unknown unknowns"
can be very important.
In his response, he says:
"But there are also unknown unknowns, the ones we don't know we don't know. And if one looks throughout the history of our country and other free countries,
it is the latter category that tend to be the difficult ones."
Education is Key
In an interview with Elon
Musk (wiki), someone asked him something close to:
"How is it you can do
so much, including starting PayPal,
a car company,
a solar company,
and even a space program that challenges NASA?"
His answer in essence was:
"I read a lot of books."
Education provides solutions by helping to make known the "unknown
unknowns".
If you think about it, it can have at least two important points that can show the
value of knowledge:
- The information you don't know about something could be as or even more important than the information you think you know about something.
- You may not know as much as you think.

Conclusion
It's easy to understand that people have to work hard and learn lots of knowledge to be a doctor, lawyer, or
most any other highly skilled job. How many other aspects of your life will
benefit from knowledge? For example, how much knowledge do you have about
relationships? Have you learned about Important
Relationship Skills? This page touches on just one aspect about
how the mind works. Understanding how the mind works can be extremely
valuable. One last, but important truth (or disclaimer?) is that the knowledge
that you learn from others may or may not be true. Remember, people claim that
even fake deaths of people have been staged and publicized. Consider reading incorrect
lessons and listen to
your heart.
I invite you to consider:
How much
of your life is affected by your thoughts in your mind?
Be mindful that so much of life
is learned. Knowledge provides solutions that can help you move in a
positive direction in your life.
